Council carried motions declaring the mayor seat vacant, electing council officers, adopting Resolution 795-2018 for annual appointments and setting the then-current second-Thursday meeting time. The following regular meeting adopted Resolution 796-2018 appointing a mayor. Development discussions were not new approvals: the Turkey Hill canopy/pump expansion required a variance; 494 Parkview Road plans were incomplete; Hafer Heights Lot 5 still had outstanding stormwater inspections and temporary zoning occupancy approval.
